This account of a six-week bike-packing journey from Lecce in Italy’s deep South to Lake Como in Italy’s far North provides a how-to, and sometimes how-not-to guide to cycling Italy. Janine and her husband (very amateur cyclists) decided to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary, and forty years of being alive with and adventure. An adventure that was life affirming, challenging and fun, all whilst not looking too much like a mid-life crisis to their family and friends.
