About the Author
Deborah Ziolkoski is an elementary music specialist with the Surrey School District in British Columbia, Canada. She has a bachelor of education with a music major, and her Masters Orff level from the University of Memphis. Deborah currently works with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra designing the Teacher Guided Activites for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra's Ele mentary School Concerts. In 2005 her Orff Clubs performed the Persian March and Aquarium (as written in Fun with Composers Volume I) with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra for over 100,000 teachers, parents and students. In 2006 Deborah published volume I of the Fun with Composers' Teacher Guides and Just for Kids Guides. She has recently published Volume 2 (Pre K- Gr. 3) and is currently working on Volume 2 (Gr. 3-Gr. 7). This series is being integrated into elementary music and piano curriculums internationally. Deborah has over 18 years experience as a music specialist and is an active international clinician, presenting at many prestigious National Conferences. Her Orff groups have been asked to perform at many events including the National Orff Conferences. Deborah lives in White Rock, British Columbia with her husband and their three beautiful daughters Annika, Lauren and Charli.
