Reprinted 1963.Drawings and diagrams by Maurice Tulloch. Vintage horse ownership book for young readers that is still very relevant today. Chock-full of information, including drawings of how to determine age from a horse's teeth and proper riding posture. Green cloth cover shows some signs of shelf wear. The black lettering on the spine is bright and legible. The pages are clean and unmarked with the exception of a dark pencil mark on one of the front endpapers. (Erased but the indentation remains.) The dust jacket shows heavy wear along edges and spine due to age, but has done a great job protecting the book itself. BR (220).
