About the Authors

Tiffany has loved to read for as long as she can remember. She used to hide on the playground at recess to read! Instead of swinging and sliding, she preferred to explore hundred-acre woods, unlock secret gardens, and walk two moons. She has been passionate about the science of reading and helping kids learn to read ever since. She has worked as a reading tutor, first grade teacher, and kindergarten teacher since 2010. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with her husband and two daughters, Winnie and Riley. They love to read books about music, frogs and toads, and princesses in black.

Born and bred in London, Tracy Cottingham graduated from Middlesex University with a degree in Printed Textile Design. Work in commercial textiles and greeting cards led her into the world of illustration, and she began to design cards, packaging, and children's books.
