About the Author

Conor McGrath is Lecturer in Political Lobbying and Public Affairs at the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland. Before joining the University, he worked as a self-employed lobbyist in London, as an aide to a British member of parliament, and in the office of a Republican Member of Congress.
