About the Author

Functioning is Andrew's debut novel.

In three decades as a highly awarded and decorated writer in the advertising industry, has written everything from TV and cinema commercials to long copy newspaper and magazine ads, to billboards, to digital and social media advertising to short films.

In the process, he has honed his abilities and his understanding of story and narrative, as well as an ear for tone of voice.

As well as being an aspiring novelist, he now works in fundraising and marketing for a community outreach not-for-profit.
