Larson Fundamental Accounting Principles is the market leader in Accounting Principles in Canada due to its continual and successful focus on innovation. This includes innovation in market driven development, innovation in the student-centred content and pedagogy, and innovation in technology.
Larson benefits from a superior market-driven research and development process and it continues to build on the core strengths that have made it the market leader―presenting accounting principles in a clear, comprehensive, and technically accurate manner that has been developed in accordance with evolving market needs.
Always focused on the needs of students, the new 14th Canadian edition includes further illustration of the differences between IFRS and ASPE when appropriate, in each chapter. It continues to emphasize student success and critical thinking―preparing students to succeed in both the accounting principles course and in their future careers. Larson also provides students and instructors with a wealth and variety of accurate and flexible problem material.
Larson continues to boast an innovative technology package which supports the widest range of teaching and learning, whether in a face-to-face class, technology enhanced class, or a total distance learning environment. The new 14th Canadian edition offers innovative options to faculty and students including Connect, a homework management solution that includes an interactive eBook, LearnSmart, direct text end-of-chapter problems, select algorithmic problems, Help Me Solve It tutorials, and study resources; and, the optional Lyryx Interactive Financial Accounting homework assessment solution, which contains algorithmic problems tied to the Larson text, unlimited opportunity for students to practice, and automatic grading with detailed feedback. Connect is included with each new Larson print text at no additional cost. Lyryx Interactive Financial Accounting is available to package with the Larson text at an additional cost.
With a continued focus on student success, these innovative technology solutions are market driven based on feedback from instructors and students alike. Larson is the innovative way for students to learn successfully!
