Of particular importance is the probing of nonlinear material response of standard soil and rock material models, namely, the Drucker-Prager, Mohr-Coulomb and Cam-Clay models, under triaxial loading. Slope stability and consolidation problems are examined.

Abaqus input (*.inp) files, Python Abaqus post processing and plotting scripts are provided. Python is used because of its wide popularity and is integrated with Abaqus. This enables analysis and post-processing automation, as well as extending the analysis capabilities of Abaqus (for e.g., implementing the strength reduction method for slope stability analysis).
