About the Author:

An investor for 20 years, a licensed stockbroker for 10 years, and a licensed
branch manager of a national stockbrokerage firm for 6 years, Mr. Howell
was continually asked by clients to recommend an investment resource which
would provide quality, and comprehensive investment education for the novice
to intermediate level investor. After searching the shelves of bookstores and
libraries, being unable to locate such a resource, Mr. Howell took it upon
himself to write such a book.

With the completion of this book, Mr. Howell resigned his position, and founded "The American Institute for Financial Education", a publishing company focused solely on the publication of financial and investment education related materials. Fundamental of Investment In U.S. Financial Markets is the first publication of this newly formed publishing company.
