Richards, Ph.D., is an educator and consultant with over 35 years of experience in radar signal processing, primarily at the Georgia Institute of Technology but also at DARPA, Lockheed-Martin, and others. He is the author of Fundamentals of Radar Signal Processing, Second Edition and editor-in-chief of Principles of Modern Radar: Basic Principles, and is a Fellow of the IEEE cited "for contributions to radar signal processing education."
