"The author sets out the major problem of the Commonwealth - the existence of two great divisions, the four 'old' Commonwealth countries and the twelve 'new' nations that have achieved independence in the last fifteen years - and discusses the great difference in race, history and wealth between these two types of countries. There is no sentimental nostalgia but many constructive proposals for the future." Ex military library stock so expect to see light wear and possible markings and annotations in the text. Dust-jacket in acceptable to good condition. Binder in good condition. No significant defects of note other than age related wear. Quick flickthrough of text shows few marks other than initial library stamp. Overall good condition. 1963 edition. Prompt dispatch as standard. Many thanks for supporting independents.
