A Future In The Stars

In 1914, Rosa was forced to travel across the Atlantic from her beloved home in Sicily to Brooklyn, New York, at the request of her older brother, who needed her assistance in caring for his pregnant wife. Little did she know the fate that awaited her when she arrived in Brooklyn.

Determined to return to Sicily, she fought against every barrier that stood in her way until she came to the realization that women had no rights in a strange country. American laws were not favorable for women at that time, however, Rosa wasn't going to let anyone control or dictate what she could do with her life.

Then she met the man who would change all that, Tom Savino. Although she tried to deny her feelings for this man, her love and longing to return to Sicily were stronger, until Tom came up with a scheme to keep her with him. His love for her was more than he realized. His decision was brilliant but through his trickery, it almost ruined his life.
