Futuristic Stories [1 and 2] (Complete in two issues)

Magazines. Quartos. 47pp. and 32pp. Stapled illustrated wrappers. Overall very good with moderate wear including small tears, creases, and rubbing; with tape remnants on the inside wraps of issue two. The complete two-issue run of this rare post-WWII British science fiction magazine printed on thin cheap paper. While several authors are credited, the content of these magazines were written entirely by N. Wesley Firth. The first issue includes the stories "The Lords of Zorm," "Laughter of the Gods," and "The Timeless Dimension," while the other issue features one full-length tale, "Dark Asteroid." Firth's career was sadly cut short when he contracted tuberculosis and died at the age of 29. Scarce. *OCLC* locates nine copies over two records.
