Pictorial wrappers, size is 9" x 12". Condition for this journal is good only with edge wear, some wear to corners and spine ends, some wear to covers, some wear along the spine, 2 small chips to the top right and left corners of the centre pages (see photo). 32 pages with photos. --- Published for the Gander RCAF Station during WW2, to boost moral at the isolated airbase. During the war Gander was a top secret airport so no actual location was noted in any of the articles. --- With articles on sports at the station, "the feminine front", "Rescue From 'A' For Able" as told to Eleanore Martin, "All Clear" by LAC Ron Rewbury, education, sports, entertainment, and more (including a pinup photo on the inside back cover).
