1759 seventh edition on very worn leather outer bound boards which are beginning to disintegrate. The front cover is detached but this volume is screaming out for a rebinding job given that inner content is in good condition given it's age. The first few pages and back pages are very frayed at the edges but the bulk of the book is in remarkably good condition. This seventh edition was revised and altered according to the system of botany and embellised with several copper plates which were not in the orgional editions. Some browning evident to edges otherwise a remarkable and collectable folio well preserved for it's age in spite of the serious deterioration of the outer boards. Price has been significantly marked down because of these detailed faults but it is still strongly advised to ask for a comprehensive set of images before ordering.
