The Reviser of The Book of Genesis studiously limited the work to ONLY SPELLING REVISION: Words like "worketh" and "saith" and "hast" had their spelling revised to 'works','says', and 'have' (respectively). The three (3) exceptions are: "wot/wit"; "nigh"; and "betwixt" which are replaced with the EXACT SYNONYMS IN COMMON USE- 'knew/know';'near'; and 'between'. Otherwise the reviser strictly limited his work to SPELLING REVISION ONLY. The Readable King James Bible The Book Of Genesis is an EXACT GRAMMATICAL EQUIVALENT of The Book of Genesis of the Authorized Version first published in 1611.
