Light brown cloth covers with a blue and black illustration on the front cover that is in fine condition. Blue lettering on the front cover and black lettering on the spine are both clean and unmarked. Covers exhibit light wear, bumping and fraying on the corners and spine ends. Light bumping and wear to upper and lower edges. Light wear on hinges. Light shelf wear and soiling on covers. Yellowing to text, inside front and back covers, ffep's and bfep's due to age. Text and the many b&w drawings and photos are otherwise clean and unmarked. Writing in ink on the upper edge of the inside back cover. Hinges are tight. The author of this book "hopes the boys who read it will have a better understanding of water and air, how they are used, and what they mean to us." All books are individually examined and described.
