570p. A hardcover book bound with a black leather spine and corners and marbled boards. Good condition overall. Edges and surfaces heavily scuffed. Foxing and occasional stains inside. Owner's signature and some tape fragments on a blank front endpaper, but otherwise, text unmarked and pages securely bound. Volume 49 (6 monthly issues for July through December 1854) of this popular antebellum women's magazine. Contains 6 color fashion plates and numerous black and white engravings.
