7, [1] pages plus 12 unpaged leaves of plates. Saddle-sewn booklet: H 21.75cm x L 14cm. Tan paper covers with mild toning/foxing, small chip at front cover's top fore-edge margin with interior leaves lightly bumped at top corners too. Light foxing to edges and to title leaf. Interior pages are otherwise clean. A very good- copy. Introduction by I.G. Philip [Ian Gilbert Philip] on pages 3-6 with 24 b/w plates of Hungarian, English, Italian, French, and Scottish, bookbindings from the 15th through the 18th centuries held by the Oxford's Bodleian Library.
