Golf book. Key title in the field of golfing and especially groundskeeping. 1st edition. small 4to [xv] 152pp. [viii adverts] plus 48 pages of photographic plates, tables in text and to appendix. Original green cloth gilt, reback in near match, original spine label applied. Boards show expected light wear. Corners very lightly bumped but overall handsome. Internally, extremely clear and bright. One instance of ink marginalia to p.102 (chemical composition of Mowrah Meal?) Pencil marks to p.52 with pressure marks back through p.49. Small stamp of Knole Park Golf Club to top of xi. All mentioned for complete accuracy, overall remains very very good.
