The souvenir program for the U.S. premiere of Pier Paolo Pasolini's film "The Gospel According to St. Matthew" presented by Walter Reade, Jr., president of Walter Reade-Sterling, Inc. and released by Continental, a division of that company. The program lists cast and credits with portraits; bios of Reade, the producer Alfredo Bini and Pasolini; brief bios of the cameraman, costume designer, composer and art director; a two-page illustrated essay on the filming; and numerous stills from the film.
