Robert Beauchamp was born on July 17, 1949. He was the only male memberof his 1967 Arlington [MA] HighSchool graduating class to be named a National Merit Scholar. Several monthslater, Beauchamp entered the University of California at Berkeley.In June 1971, Beauchamp wasdrafted into the Army, but not accepted due to his admitted bisexuality. Nevertheless,Beauchamp was quickly employed by the CIA to assist in an illegal investigationof Dr. Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers. During this investigation,Beauchamp killed the secondary target, Charles McGrath, who was his former highschool lover, and falsely believed to be Ellsberg's current lover and espionageaccomplice. For the next thirty-two years,Beauchamp would graymail federal officials to provide him legal and financialassistances. He would spend years released on bails, as a fugitive andin-and-out of prison. As a result of the machinationsof Beauchamp et al., there is a substantial likelihood that the outcome ofseveral presidential elections was altered.
