FIRST AND ONLY EDITION circa 1905 (British Library accession date), IN THE ORIGINAL DUSTWRAPPER, small oblong format, 150 x 235 mm, 6 x 9¼ inches, glazed colour illustrated boards, beige spine, pictorial patterned endpapers, (32) pages. 16 wonderful colour plates each facing simple 'handwritten' text. The Dutch dolls have fun and games, hunting trips, parties, dressing up, play-acting. Minute bump at head of spine, minute rub at tail of spine, original bookseller's tiny label on front pastedown, no inscriptions, small faint stain to lower margin of first 2 pages, a couple of tiny pale fox spots to 1 text page, otherwise a Fine almost as new crisp clean copy in very good plus pale green DUSTWRAPPER printed brown on upper panel, folds and spine very lightly browned, minute chips at tail of spine and lower corners, 50 mm (2") closed tear at top edge of upper panel next to spine.
