L'opera era composta da undici volumi, siamo in possesso del volume quarto parte prima che descrive l'età del rinascimento e della riforma (1454-1556). Tra gli argomenti trattati: imperialismo e colonialismo (riassestamento dell'Europa, la guerra d'Italiaalla conquista delle Indie), Vecchio e Nuovo mondo in fiamme (dalla guerra europea alla conquista della Nuova Spagna, l'apogeo della fortuna degli Asburgo), Occidente ed Oriente (l'occidente europeo dalla Pace di Cambrai all'abdicazione di Carlo V, l'Oriente asiatico e l'Occidente americano) ecc. All'interno sono presenti dieci tavole fuori testo, 19 cartine geografiche e 225 figure nel testo. In buone condizioni. Copertina in mezza tela editoriale in buone condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso in parte staccato. Legatura in buone condizioni. All'interno le pagine si presentano in ottime condizioni con rare fioriture. Lieve gora d'umidità al margine superiore. Returns and refundings must be asked within 30 days of the estimated delivery date and the returned items must be received back in the same condition as we sent them.
