The text has some defects: light pen marks on Dedication page, minor old stains pages 97/98, 116/117; the binding is weak at page 32; page 159 (Index) has 1 1/2" tear on bottom edge and 1 1/2" split at top spine edge. "A Guide to Good Cooking is an All-Canadian Book. The Five Roses Cook Book is in tune with the strong movement to use Canadian materials and Canadian products.
