More than a Game: Finding Life's Answers Through Golf

Can a man come to God through golf? Certified golf teaching professional Scott Lehman believes so. The founder of In His Grip Golf, a non-profit sports ministry, Lehman sees golf as a gateway for men looking for direction and meaning in their lives.

Through golf stories and anecdotes, Lehman teaches men the biblical skills, values, and discipline needed for a purpose-filled life. Beginning with the basic foundations of biblical thought, Lehman teaches golf-related life lessons and their proper application.

Lehman applies his seventeen years of golf instruction to More Than a Game, providing practical tips on improving golf techniques alongside his spiritual teachings. He compares the Church to a golfer's pro shop, containing everything necessary to play the game—or live a meaningful life. He reveals how pride limits a golfer's game on and off the course and how the patience and self-control learned through golf to improve life.

Whether you're a man struggling to find his purpose and place in this world or simply a golfer curious about a fellow sportsman's views on the game, More Than a Game will prove both entertaining and life-changing.

A certified golf teaching professional for seventeen years, Scott Lehman is the founder and president of In His Grip Golf, a non-profit sports ministry.

Lehman produced the Master Your Short Game & Master the Course DVD, and coauthored the devotional book The Master's Grip. He and his wife Leslie have been married for twenty years. They currently live in the Nashville, Tennessee, area with their son, Micah.
