The Game Master

In the shadowed town of Willow Creek, the abandoned psychiatric hospital is more than a legend—it's a dare. For five teenagers—Maya, Liam, Chloe, Noah, and Sam—entering its rusted gates is a chance to escape their personal demons: guilt, grief, anger, doubt, and loneliness. But the hospital is no ordinary ruin. It's the domain of the Game Master, a malevolent spirit with a genius intellect who traps them in a nightmarish escape room where the puzzles are as personal as they are deadly.
As the teens navigate the hospital’s decaying halls, each room forces them to confront their deepest fears, unraveling secrets not just about themselves but about the hospital’s horrific past—unethical experiments, buried conspiracies, and a town complicit in its silence. With the Game Master’s chilling voice guiding their every move, failure means more than losing the game; it means losing their lives.
The Game Master is a gripping young adult horror novel that blends psychological terror with heartfelt coming-of-age themes. Perfect for fans of Stranger Things and The Haunting of Hill House, this haunting tale explores the resilience of youth, the power of friendship, and the courage to face the darkness within.
