Something jumped on Jesse and grabbed Georges shirt on the way down. Jesse expected to hit the ground very hard, and very soon. In a few seconds even, but he didnt. They just kept falling. Jesse looked up and saw that George had been dragged down as well. What was going on here? Everything was turning upside down and this way and that. The fall was disorienting all senses. Jesse could feel a scream rising in his throat, but it never came out. It got stuck there, and blocked any sound from escaping.

About the Author
Lynessa Goss was born on March 7, 1992. She lived in Lehi, Utah for her entire life, in one house. Drawing and writing were her favorite hobbies from a very young age. She would draw a picture if anyone would give her paper and a pencil, and showed supreme writing talent in elementary school. When writing stories, hers always had a plot, no matter how far-fetched it was. She has received several awards for art, and also Editor's Choice Award for many works of poetry. Her achievements in writing are decent grades and, of course, a finished book to show for it. Although writing was fun for her, she also enjoyed reading fictional books, and listening to music, just like any other teenager. She lives at home with her family and her three cats, Ojos, Soot, and Cinders. She loves her cousins and family very much. Lynessa started Game Over in seventh grade and, after stepping back for about a year between eighth and ninth grade, she finished it at age fifteen. She edited and took a step back for another year before finally getting it published at age sixteen. I would like to thank especially my sister, Tirsa who has played a major part in helping me to re-read my book, and has also been my content editor. I would also like to thank my English teachers and friends for their help. Finally, I would like to thank my mother for inspiring me to write more after each and every chapter. I love you, mom.
