1st Edition thus, 1st printing (so stated). In publisher's shrink wrap, wrapping opened only for photos, BUT was dropped by the publisher during packaging, leaving a small bump to the bottom front corner of Volume 2. Otherwise New. Blue buckram with gilt titles, with foil full cover illustrations, in a matching board slipcase with a picture of the Ice King inside. Decorated endpapers, and a very large fold-out (23" x 38") cased map of "The Known World." Lavishly illustrated with full and double-page illustrations, with additional illustrations at chapter heads. Also with several illustrated appendices, including genealogies of the houses. A lavish and handsome production.
