Gamification in the Teaching of Financial Mathematics

The book presents the development of a program in the C programming language for calculating loan repayments, covering different repayment systems and financial operations. Using the Dev-C++ software as a development environment, the program offers an intuitive interface for users to enter data such as loan amount, interest rate and term, providing detailed calculations of payments, interest, outstanding balance and amortization over time. The methodology adopted involved defining requirements, developing precise algorithms for each amortization system, implementing them in C language and validating the results through comprehensive testing. The results indicate that the program is efficient, accurate and flexible, with potential application in personal finance, business management and investments. Its ability to handle a variety of amortization systems and financial operations makes it a valuable tool for assisting in making informed and strategic financial decisions.
