Each photo has a small paper label to bottom left corner, numbered Figure 1-17. Some wear to plastic sleeves and black paper backings to photos. Offsetting from text to inside front cover. Two stapled leaves of xeroxed notes laid in, referencing future projects to be completed in the years 1980 and 1981. NASA research proposal for the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory, which launched in 1991. "The Gamma Ray Observatory is ready to be started now!!".
