Original orange cloth spine lettered and decorated in black lettering. In generally good condition. Extremities rubbed. Lower rear spine hinge, neat well done rear with some new matching cloth added, inside rear hinge reinforced. A few faint patches on boards. Inside early and late pages a bit tanned, else generally clean & tight. Size 8.5 x 5.75 inches Profusely illustrated with many drawings and photographs. 382 pp., including: Slang of the Early Gangsters, and a Bibliography. Scorsese based his film on this book. SCARCE BOOK.
