Preliminary pages + pp. 389 - 607 pages. No dustjacket. Striking colour plates and intricate B&W illustrations. No dustjacket. Dark green hardback binding with green titles, gold-coloured titles to spine with simple white Celtic-like roundals to front and spine and bottle-green background in vertical bands to the front board, and bottle-green spine and back board. Moderate wear to boards' corners and spine-end - heavy wear to bottom boards' corners which loks as if they've been chewed by dog. To inside of front board is an ink name and date of 1910. Browning, foxing and spotting to page-edges and some foxing/spotting to early and late pages o/w pages clean and tidy.
