Garuda: The Fall And Rise

A counterfeit inhaler kills his father. A corrupt empire controls the roads. One engineer decides to fight back-from the sky.

In the isolated village of Shirur, essential medicines, farm supplies, and livelihoods all pass through the hands of Gajraj Singh, a ruthless strongman who rules through fear, extortion, and violence. When mechanical engineer Vikram Deshmukh discovers that the inhaler meant to save his father contained nothing but industrial filler, grief becomes a mission. With Ananya, a fearless schoolteacher, and Chhotu, a brilliant scrapyard mechanic, Vikram builds V-Link-a low-bandwidth network connecting forgotten villagers to verified suppliers. But information alone cannot cross blocked roads. So they create Garuda, a cargo drone assembled from salvaged machinery, stubborn hope, and impossible ambition. When Garuda completes a lifesaving mission, Vikram becomes a symbol of resistance-and a target. Now two powerful forces are closing in: a criminal network determined to destroy him and a corporate giant eager to own the technology he created. As surveillance, betrayal, legal pressure, and violence escalate, Vikram must decide how far he is willing to go-and whether a system built to free people can survive without becoming another instrument of control.

When every road is controlled, freedom must find another way.
