Gay Book Of Lists Rutledge, Leigh W.

The third edition of Leigh Rutledge's hugely popular Gay Book of Lists is loaded with pertinent new facts and figures to keep even the most resolute of trivia hounds happy. What more can you ask of a book than that it include information such as this:

30 picturesque slang expressions for masturbation
5 men it would have been better not to have gone home with
18 celebrity homophobes
15 terrible historical events that gay people have been blamed for
12 stupefying quotes from Pat Robertson

Leigh Rutledge is the author of 16 books, including Gay Friends, Too Much of a Good Thing, Nice Girls Don't Wear Cha-Cha Heels and If People Were Cats.

A collection of 98 lists constructed from the author's personal files. Beginning with "19 Famous Gay and Lesbian Relationships, the Age of Each Partner When They First Met, and How Long Each Relationship Lasted," the lists purportedly focus on male homosexuality. However, many are not specifically gay-related but deal generally with sexuality, e.g., "17 Famous People Who Had Syphilis." The lists are randomly arranged, not comprehensive, and the sources of information are not identified. Interesting and amusing, this is primarily valuable as entertainment. James E.
