An important collection of official documents, including a reprint of the famous Smyth Report. The report on "Radar" is especially interesting today for containing a sketch of the early history of radar and of wartime radar development in the U.S. The list of authors who collaborated in its preparation includes Frederic Jolliot-Curie of France, Sir George Paget Thomson of the United Kingdom, J. Robert Oppenheimer of the United States among other leading scientists.
