Covers have heavy wear, rubbing, chipping, soil and small pieces missing from ends of spine. Corners and ends of spine bumped, creased and rubbed. Binding tight. Ink inscription on half title page. Brown stain on top edge of first few pages and typical cookbook soil on a few other pages. 436 pages including index. Fancy cookbooks can be useful and sooner or later you need to fix lunch. This cookbook has recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as party food. Recipes include blueberry muffins, coffee cake and pecan rolls for breakfast, poached eggs, omelets, Welsh rabbit, pineapple jellied salad and curried mixed vegetables for lunch and vegetable broiler casserole, brown beef stew and apple pie with chocolate filling for dinner. It also has recipes for company dinners, buffet dinners, women's luncheons, children's parties, picnics and Christmas dinner and treats. Each sections has menus, tips and time saving tricks. The book is illustrated with single color sketches and with full color photographs. Size: 8.5 x 9.25.
