"One of the things that I have found most useful in the textbook is the inclusion of summary boxes which help to point out the key messages of each of the chapters...a really great way to test my knowledge at the end of a chapter and ensure that I hadn't missed any of the key points." (Medical Student Review)
General and Systematic Pathology progresses from a review of general pathology principles and disease mechanisms through detailed discussions of the pathologic entities associated with each organ system. Nearly 700 full-colour photographs and pathology slides bring the content to life. This new edition reflects the latest discoveries in cellular and molecular pathology with extensive updates.
- Contents perfectly matches needs on medical students.
- Very clinical approach matches integrated courses.
- Extensive International Advisory Board validates contents.
- Each organ system chapter begins with a brief review of normal structure and function, emphasizing aspects that are important to an understanding of the subsequently discussed disease processes.
- Offers a superb collection of clinical photographs, histopathology images, and graphics, approximately 700 in all, that richly depict the appearance of both healthy and diseased tissues.
- New co-editor, Dr Simon Cross
- Easier to use during problem- or case-based courses - revised chapter structure
- New contributors and re-written chapters
- Expanded International Advisory Board.- a global perspective

Store description
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
