Generation AI and the Transformation of Human Being

Many are discussing what AI and other advanced technologies may become; few have thought through what we will become.

Generation AI—those born after 2022—will be the first humans to grow up in a world of immersive AI, intelligent robots, and ambiguous boundaries between the born and the made. They will differ fundamentally from us, yet their future is our future too.

• How do we prepare our children—and ourselves—for careers that don't yet exist?
• What parts of human connection and purpose can we protect as AI becomes more capable?
• How will the next generation form their identity when AI can do most of what we consider uniquely human?

Drawing on evolutionary biology, social science, and breakthroughs in advanced technologies, renowned scientist-philosopher Gregory Stock offers the most comprehensive analysis yet of how AI will reshape not just our world, but our very nature.

From parenting and relationships to the future of education, work, and humanity itself, Generation AI maps the transformation already underway—and how to navigate it with intention rather than fear.
