Generations Generations Generations: The Story of a Church and a Movement

"It’s inspirational to read an adventure story like this about a community pioneering, again and again, over half a century to impact Southampton, the nation and the nations." Pete Greig, Founder, 24-Prayer International

This is a story of faith and resilience - a story of an unshakable belief. A belief that God can use ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things.

As an account of the fascinating journey of New Community Church in Southampton and the broader community and church networks it has been involved in, this book is more than just a history of events, but a personal reflection on the joys, struggles and transformations that have made this church what it is today.

Generations, Generations, Generations by Billy Kennedy (with Ralph Turner) is a powerful encouragement for anyone needing resilience and strength as they step out in obedience to fulfil God-given visions and dreams that may feel unattainable. And as this book fiercely demonstrates, nothing is impossible with God.

Billy Kennedy is the leader of the Pioneer International Network, an ecumenical canon at Winchester Cathedral and a former president of Churches Together in England. He serves as a visitor for the Order of the Mustard Seed ecumenical missional order and was the senior leader at New Community Church in Southampton from 2002-22. Billy is married to Caroline and they have three children, David, Erin and Daniel, and five grandchildren.
