Genesis Echo: Book 1: Monomyth: Dystopian Alien Invasion Sci-Fi

The perfect next adventure for fans of Red Rising and Ender's Game series, Genesis Echo weaves together tales from a dystopian galaxy not too far from our own.

Rain, hidden in an eroding sea-town on Earth by her father and uncle, believes herself to be an ordinary girl, oblivious to her true origins. The truth is, she was born on another planet, and her existence is a closely guarded secret from the oppressive Grey Empire, who hunt her relentlessly across the cosmos.

As Rain begins to understand her identity, she learns that Earth has been Humanity's prison for 70,000 years. The Greys' domination is absolute and they record everything on Earth to broadcast across the empire for entertainment. Carefully contrived war, disease, and chaos: all a spectacle for their own amusement.

On the other side of the galaxy, Lor, a young girl with unique Source-powers, struggles to survive on a derelict factory planet: Grima, where escaped mistakes from the Greys' cloning experiments lurk in the darkness. And Tonjin, an Elite warrior-in-training, prepares to confront the invasion of his home planet, Rien, in a diabolical viral assault by the Greys.

As Rain, Lor, and Tonjin's fates intertwine, they must navigate a treacherous universe where nothing is as it seems and trust becomes their most valuable currency. Together, they will uncover the truth about humanity's captivity and embark on a daring quest to overthrow their oppressors and reclaim their freedom.

Every person has an unbelievable power locked away inside them. The truth is, they stole it even from our memories.

Dylan Anderson spent nine years crafting his sci-fi novel, "Genesis Echo". It began during his European study abroad program, where he was struck by new perspectives that ignited his original idea and concept. Traveling exposed him to fresh ideas, inspiring him to delve into the realms of spirituality and human existence and share it through the lens of science fiction. As he explored new cities, Dylan kept thinking of "what if" scenarios about the nature of humanity and enlightenment. One scenario, an explanation to the enigmatic Fermi Paradox, became the foundation of his novel. Imagine: humans as prisoners on Earth monitored by fearful aliens. He wrote his book just steps away from the ocean in San Diego, while attempting to learn to surf. Dylan's first novel in a new sci-fi series is a captivating narrative that aims to evoke compassion and connection among readers.
