Genesis of a Vampire: One Lost Soul Will Shape Human Destiny

He was born with a hunger no orphan should possess.

In the dust-choked streets of first-century Nazareth, a sickly infant is left on the steps of an
orphanage with no name, no history, and a darkness stirring inside him that no one around him
can understand. As young Jacob grows, so does the hunger. A hunger that awakens with blood.
A hunger that grants him strength, longevity, and a power that sets him apart from every human
soul he has ever known.

But Jacob is not yet a monster. He is still a boy. And boys, even cursed ones, can form
friendships that change the world.

When Jacob crosses paths with a quiet, perceptive teenager named Joshua of Nazareth, the two form an unlikely bond forged in questions neither of them can answer. What is Jacob becoming? What is Joshua destined to be? And in a world of Roman occupation, orphanage violence, and ancient darkness, can a creature born of hunger choose to protect rather than consume?

Genesis of a Vampire is a haunting, morally complex origin story set against the raw and visceral
world of 1st-century Judea. Written by a historian with over 25 years of expertise in the ancient
world, it delivers the kind of atmospheric, deeply researched dark fantasy that readers of vampire
fiction have been searching for.

Dark. Ancient. Unlike anything you have read before.

This is where the Immortal Conquest Series begins. Jacob's journey does not end in Nazareth. It has barely started. Across two thousand years of empire, war, revolution, and survival, one immortal soul walks the fault lines of human history. Book Two - Shadow of the Legions - is available now. Book Three arrives May 2027.

Perfect for readers of Anne Rice, Simon Scarrow, dark historical fantasy, and supernatural origin sagas.
