Both quality and quantity of grain are important targets to improve. Genetic analysis is one of best tools to exploit the potential of species for application on commercial scale. It will not only enable us to feed humanity but also direct to use natural resources in proper way.

Muhammad Abdul Rehman Rashid is a growing plant breeder doing his PhD in Genetics and Biotechnology in China Agricultural University, Beijing, China. He has completed his M.Sc(Hons) at University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan in 2011.He is a member of Society of Plant Breeders and Geneticists University of Agriculture Faisalabad.
