Blue cloth, lettered/illus. in black. Stated 11th edition: Jan. 1938. (The first Blue Ribbon edition, combining the 1st and 2nd series, was issued in July 1936.) Mild rubbing to spine extremities, corners rubbed with slight exposure. Some toning to text block edges. 108,116 pp., illus. w/ line drawings, some by none other than Dr. Seuss. A decently preserved copy with relatively minor faults. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
