About the Author

Author Robin Chodak’s life changed after the suicide of her former husband in 2005. She left her job as a software analyst and started her journey of recovery. She started to write, at first to her deceased husband. It helped her stay connected to him and at the same time it was therapeutic. Then she began to write her memoir and stories about grief. Her publications include, ”Love Will Go On”, in The Daily Word September/October 2016 issue, “There is Hope for Your Journey”, SOSBSA (Survivors of Suicide Bereavement Support Australia), “Personal Survivor Story”, Catholic Charities Loss (Loving Outreach to Suicide Survivors), “Surviving after Loss”, in AFSP(American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) and a contributor in Tom Sweetman’s Book: From Grief to Greatness and Matlida Butlers’s Book: Tales of Our Lives: Fork in the Road. In 2008 she became a trained facilitator for AFSP(American Foundation for Suicide Prevention). She created a Facebook page (www.facebook.com/recovernowfromloss) to offer hope to others on their journey. Robin is a certified Grief/Life/Spiritual Coach,certified Reiki Practitioner and a certified Master NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) Practitioner.
