1760 leather bound copy in good condition with some signs of wear and age. It is illustrated with 89 (out of 90) plates, a frontispiece engraving, 2 full page engraved diagrams on one leaf, and a few in-text illustrations and diagrams. It lacks plate number 83. The book has been recently professionally rebacked with a new leather spine. The covers have some scuffing, soiling and wear. The binding of the book is good and strong. There has been some archival repairs around the edges of the frontispiece engraving. The endpapers have some period manuscript notation. The interior is toned from age but fairly clean with some occasional scattered light foxing, soiling, and grubbiness. A few pages have a minor marginal chip or tear. Along with that, there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other imperfection, such as a creased page corner, minor stain, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 10 3/8 inches by 8 1/2 inches and is 101 pages long.
