Item description from seller

246pp + 108pp of Appendices. Reprinted from an authentic copy, superintended through the Press. The inquiry concerns the Princess Caroline who was married to the Prince of Wales in 1795. The author found fame as the only British Prime Minister ever to have been assassinated. Internally, except for occasional foxing, the pages of text are in very good condition. However, the half-leather boards are in a poor state, particularly to the spine which is detached to one side and partially raised to the other side; edges substantially worn through and mottled covers have some loss to edges. Spine has four raised bands which are worn and which contain the title in a very faded state. Rear board is loose but not detached. A previous owner's name in black ink to one of the front free endpapers. Errata page bound in after the list of Appendices.
