Both volumes are very good in full-leather bindings with black leather spine label. Light edgewear. Light incidential foxing to text pages; foxing amplified on engraved pages. Volume one has 623 pages + 1 ad page and twenty-two engraved plates and two foldouts ("View and Plan of Noah's Ark" and "Plan of the Temple at Jerusalem"). Volume two has 468 pages + 20 index pages + 2 pages of binder directions and ads and eleven engravings and one foldout (map of "old Jerusalem"). This copy has additional engravings not listed in the binder's directions.
