Geo-Spatial Technologies in Rural Development

This book evidently attempts to demonstrate the use of Geo-Spatial Technologies in Planning and Management of Rural Development. Rural development intends to bring economic betterment for the people through social equity and greater technology transfer. The key elements consists of poverty alleviation, removal of ignorance, improved health care and access to services, creating meaningful infrastructure and amenities for higher quality of life. Intervention of technologies in the rural masses will also develop to boost social, economic and physical infrastructure that substantiate the need for inclusive development.
