Schrader. Frank Charles Schrader (1860-1944) of Harvard and the United States Geological Survey (USGS) was a well-known and respected American geologist, mineralogist, and entomologist, and author. He was known throughout the west as the prospector's friend and was also one of the first federal geologists to explore Alaska. The front and rear cover shows minor toning to edges with some small chipping present. The worst part of the exterior is the spine area has there is about 50% of the paper missing. Internal binding is good but there is some pulling in spots and light can be seen through from where the paper is missing on the outside. Paper is toned due to age but pages are clean. No signatures or bookplates, no light markings, no handwriting found.
